Upon arrival at Dublin airport, you will be met by one of our top class driver/guides and escorted to a luxury vehicle and privately transferred into Dublin City. Your driver/guide will conduct a short orientation tour of the city including some of the major sights. You will see O’Connell Street and the General Post Office which was the location where the Proclamation was read for the first time on Easter Sunday 1916, you will see the Garden of Remembrance, The Custom House and get a feel for this great city. Accommodation is included for 2 nights at your choice of hotel (please note supplements apply the 5 star) The Shelbourne Hotel:  The Merrion Hotel:  The Westbury Hotel or  The Dylan Hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and relax and enjoy Dublin’s Fair City.


After your full Irish breakfast this morning, at 9am you will meet an expert local guide in the hotel lobby.  We include a 3 hour walking tour   exploring the city centre.  Your tour will focus on the highlights of the city centre and give an informed and fun perspective of life and history in Ireland’s capital.  The walking tour will end at Trinity College Library where we include entrance fees to see the famous Book of Kells.   In the afternoon you may choose to visit St Patrick’s Cathedral perhaps Kilmainham Gaol, The Guinness Storehouse, The Dublin Writers Museum or any of the great museums and galleries.  


The Rock of Cashel

Our Driver/Guide Services:   We provide only the very best, a driver who will be with you for 8 hours per day (an hour for lunch included).  Your driver will also act as you guide to provide a wealth of detailed information about Ireland and the Irish and what makes us who we are.  10,000 years of Irish history relating to the cities, towns and villages along the route will be narrated.  Your driver/guide will be full of humour and Craic.  Most importantly he is there to make your trip through the Real Ireland as memorable as possible.  He we will be flexible, we want you to experience and feel the Real Ireland.  Your will be taken you to those real Irish places, places where you can immerse yourself in the culture, places where you will feel the character, meet and interact with the characters.

After breakfast you will be collected by your driver/guide in a luxury vehicle.  You will travel south west, first stopping at The Rock of Cashel – the site where St Patrick chose to make the head of his church in Ireland. The Rock of Cashel is a spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone in the Golden Vale including the 12th century round tower, High Cross and Romanesque Chapel, 13th century Gothic cathedral, 15th century Castle and the restored Hall of the Vicars Choral. After your visit, you will continue to Blarney Castle where you will have the chance to kiss the famous Stone of Eloquence and time to pillage the adjacent woollen mills. Later you will continue to Kinsale, where you will check into the stunning Perryville House (or similar) for an overnight stay in a deluxe room.  The evening is free for you to relax and explore Kinsale and try any of the fine restaurants that make Kinsale known as the Gourmet Capital of Ireland.


After breakfast you will meet with your driver/guide and depart Kinsale.  Travel along the wild and rugged south and west coast, part of Ireland’s famous tourist route the Wild Atlantic Way.  First you can make a stop to view the breath-taking scenery at the Old Head of Kinsale.  Today is all about the very best of Irish scenery, truly breath-taking panoramas that present a new vista with every mile.  There will be plenty of photo stops and time for lunch in the picturesque village of Kenmare. In the afternoon, you will travel to the popular town of Killarney where you will check in for 3 nights at the Killarney Park Hotel (or similar) in a premium King bedded room. A superb 5 star hotel located at the very centre of Killarney.  The evening is free and you can take the hotel shuttle to town to enjoy Ireland’s most famous tourist town and all of the great pubs and restaurants.


After breakfast today, meet with your driver/guide for a full day tour of the Ring of Kerry. You will travel from Killarney to Killorglin and via Glenbeigh, here we include a sheepdog demonstration with Brendan Farris.  You will continue to see dramatic views over Dingle Bay to Cahirciveen, the birth place of Daniel O’Connell – Ireland’s Great Liberator.  Take a detour to see Valentia Island and the Skellig Ring where you can see stunning coastal views out to the Skellig Island (used in the latest Star Wars film).  There will be time to enjoy an optional lunch in Waterville and take a stroll on the sandy beach past Charlie Chaplin.  Later continue your journey with some of the most beautiful sights in Ireland, through Sneem and via Molls Gap and along ladies view and along the 3 lakes arriving in Killarney in the mid-afternoon. Perhaps visit Muckross House and Gardens or take a short hike to the Torc Waterfall before returning to your hotel.  Tonight there will be the option to enjoy an evening of Irish music and dancing at The superb Celtic Steps show in Killarney you can discuss this with your expert driver/guide.


After breakfast today you will meet your driver/guide for a tour out to Ireland’s most westerly point. The day tour to the Dingle Peninsula is a journey that takes in the wild and rugged beauty of the Slea head Drive.  The peninsula is littered with Archaeological remains and secluded sandy beaches. Here you can walk on one of them and feel the splendid isolation that the Neolithic settlers must have felt in 4,000 BC when they made the area their home.  Dingle Town is one of Ireland’s quickly disappearing Gaeltacht regions where Irish is the first language and one can almost sense the difference here. An optional seafood lunch can be enjoyed in any of the towns’ superb restaurants.  Later you will travel over the Conor Pass one of Ireland most dramatic journeys across the peaks to Tralee and then back to Killarney. This evening we include a special whiskey tasting experience in the town with tasting of 4 drams included. 


After breakfast today you will meet with your driver/guide and travel north with a short stop in the pretty town of Adare regarded as Irelands prettiest towns. Later continue to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park where there will be time for an optional lunch at the famous pub Durty Nellys and afterwards we include entrance and a guided tour of the famous castle. Bunratty Castle is the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. Built in 1425 it was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendour and now contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings, tapestries, and works of art which capture the mood of those times.  Adjacent to the castle is Bunratty Folk Park where you can enjoy the sights, sounds tastes, scents, of this enchanting place as you stroll from house to house or around the charming village street complete with school, post office, doctors house, hardware shop, printers and of course McNamara’s pub! In the afternoon you will travel via The City of Galway where they will be time to stop and see the city of Tribes and in the evening its onto to the village of Cong to Ashford Castle where we include two nights in a lake view deluxe room at this stunning hotel. The evening is free to relax and there are many options for dining at this wonderful hotel.


After breakfast today meet your driver/guide for a tour to the wilds of Connemara. Travelling through the glistening Lakelands, you will see an ever changing vista with the 12 bens as the backdrop.  You can see the town of Clifden and travel up the sky road for some truly breath-taking scenes of the Wild Atlantic Way.  We include entrance fees for Kylemore Abbey and walled Gardens where there will be time to stroll.  Then its north along Kilary Harbour and return to Ashford via the Joyce Country Drive.  Your driver/guide is at your disposal from 9am to 5pm and there is much to see in the region including the Roundstone Bog (the largest natural bogland in the world), The village of Roundstone (from the film – The Matchmaker) and the monument dedicated to Alcock and Brown after their transatlantic crossing in a Vickers Vinny aircraft in 1919.  In order to take full advantage of the facilities at Ashford castle you may decide to make today a half day tour and we suggest a 9am departure today and return to Ashford by 2pm. 


After breakfast today you will meet with your driver guide and travel south to The Burren.  This is a remarkable landscape of Limestone and littered with Neolithic sites dating back 6,000 years. There will be time to explore the region and see some of the sites before travelling the short distance along Galway Bay to the The Cliffs of Moher. A sheer precipice that stretches for 5 miles along the Wild Atlantic Way. The Cliffs of Moher rise to a height of 668 feet above the Atlantic and is one of the most impressive coastlines in Ireland. In nesting season, the cliffs are home to a variety of seabirds. Entrances to Cliffs of Moher Visitors Centre included. In the afternoon its onto Dromoland Castle for your final overnight stay in a deluxe room. Here you will bid farewell to your driver/guide.  The evening is free for you to relax and enjoy the castle and there is also the option to enjoy the medieval banquet at Bunratty Castle.



Today we include a private departure transfer to Shannon airport for your return flight to the USA.
